2 May 09 Friendly match with Radiers, Eeoos & JH Kim
Mood:  sharp
Topic: Photo Gallery

On 2May, young Zenders (5 to 16 years old) were invited to JH Kim for a friendly match with Radiers & Eeoos.  It was a eye-opener for all of us to see how a professional do-jo is structured, with proper toilets, lockers, changing rooms and a fully-matted training ground with wall-filled with mirrors.

Our young zenders were reminded to bow before entering the do-jo; the usual bowing with "Good morning, Sir / Good morning, mdm" were also heard from them.

During the match, young zenders were encouraged to clap and cheer for their peers; not to forget to clap after each round for healthy encouragement.

Parents and supporters were seen snapping photo & video to capture every fighter's pride.

Brian Sir debriefed with words of encouragement & highlighted the need to train during the day.  Tournament & friendly matches were usually held in the daytime and our bodies were too used to evening training time.
